Southwestern style is a combination of southwest images, like buffalos, wolves, and Native Americans, with western stones like turquoise, crystal, and onyx. All of our southwestern belt buckles combine these two aspects. From Native American designs with turquoise inlay to round designs that center around a stone, all aspects of traditional southwestern style are covered in our collection. But, while some designs focus solely on western stones, others are shaped like southwestern images, such as a buffalo skull, an arrow head, or a wolf. Real turquoise and onyx stones are used for many of these southwestern belt buckles but, for others, the turquoise, coral, and onyx colors are created by enamel inlay in pewter.
